Elements is a soft, flat-weave performance fabric with a relaxed linen-look finish.
Compared with the richer texture of our premium Ultra Weave fabric, Elements has a smoother texture. Its understated finish makes it easy to style in playrooms, bedrooms and shared family living spaces.
The fabric also provides excellent grip when building, helping cushions stay in place during cubbies, forts, ramps and imaginative play.
Very! Elements was designed with busy family life in mind. Its water-resistant surface helps liquid bead on top of the fabric rather than immediately soaking through, giving you time to wipe up everyday spills.
The fabric is easy to spot clean, and the removable covers can be machine washed on a cold cycle when they need a more thorough refresh.
It is also pet friendly - tending not to attract cat claws with its flat weave, making it a practical option for homes shared with furry friends!

Like all NooK fabrics, Elements is a commercially rated performance fabric tested to 50,000 rubs, making it suitable for busy homes as well as schools, childcare, therapy and hospitals!
Our Ultra Weave remains our most durable and elevated weave, with a richer texture and a rating of 100,000 rubs. Elements offers a more relaxed balance of softness, everyday performance and value.
All our fabric collections are designed to be lived on. The right choice simply depends on the finish, features and price point that work best for your family.
The main difference is the construction of the base cushions.
In an Elements NooK, the two base cushions in each pair are permanently stitched together, just like the bases in our NooK Junior. They cannot be separated
into individual base pieces.
Our other NooK fabrics include connecting zips that allow the bases to be separated, offering greater flexibility for advanced builds and washing individual base covers.
Elements also uses more simplified top-stitching. These thoughtful construction changes help us achieve a more accessible price while retaining the essential comfort, quality and open-ended play experience of NooK.
